Booking a GP locum with Locumdoctor4u is deliberately simple. Send us the details of the shift or clinical requirement and we will come back to you with availability and a quotation.
We can accommodate individual sessions, full-day bookings, regular cover and, where possible, more bespoke requirements.
If your requirement is unusual or you are not sure which service is most appropriate, simply contact us and we can discuss it with you.

We confirm availability
We will consider the requirement, confirm whether appropriate cover is available and clarify any additional information needed.

Agree the booking
Once the requirements and rate have been agreed, the booking can be confirmed and the relevant arrangements put in place.
What to include in your enquiry
Providing the following information helps us respond quickly and accurately.
Date and time
The date and proposed start and finish times
of the shift or session.
Practice location
The practice name and location where the
clinical work will take place.
Type of cover
For example, AM session, PM session, full day,
home visits, telephone work or additional duties.
Payment rate scheme
The applicable rate or your practice's preferred
rate arrangement, if already established.
Clinical requirements
Any particular clinical, administrative or
workload requirements that should be understood
before the booking.
Additional information
Anything else that may affect the booking,
including unusual requirements or short-notice cover.
